Serving North Texas Through Partnership

Catholic Charities Dallas was recently featured in the October 2026 World Report from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which highlights efforts to provide food assistance to communities across the United States.

As part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, 250 truckloads of food are being donated to 250 food banks nationwide, including Joe’s Food Pantry in Dallas.

Through partnerships with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and other community supporters, Catholic Charities Dallas is able to stretch every resource further. With these partnerships, a meal can be provided to someone in need for an estimated 17 to 18 cents per person served.

We are grateful to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for this generous partnership and for highlighting the work being done to help ensure families across North Texas have access to nutritious food.
