4th Annual DFW Alliance for Religious Freedom Summit: Volunteers Needed
It’s not often that we can both attend and volunteer for an event. The 4th Annual DFW Alliance for Religious Freedom Summit offers this unique opportunity. In addition to hearing fascinating speakers offer diverse insights into this timely and essential topic and joining in on the conversation, volunteers can help monitor sessions, direct people to their destinations, and assist with registration.
Mark Romney and Bill Benac, two local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint leaders, founded the Alliance to bring together people from all walks of life and from many faith traditions. Listening to these discussions deepens our appreciation of current events and informs us about future concerns.
The Summit happens Friday, October 29, 2021, on the campus of Southern Methodist University, at the Hughes Trigg Student Center. Hours are 9 am-4 pm. View details of the program in the flyer below and HERE.
To attend in person ($25 fee includes lunch and a welcome gift), follow this link to register: HERE.
To attend virtually (which is free), use this link to register: FREE
Volunteers do not need to register for the conference themselves. Lisa Earl, coordinator for volunteers, will sign them up internally so that there is no fee. Her email is [email protected]; she can answer questions about the event and worker responsibilities.
All-day and part-day help is needed. Sign up for a shift via JustServe.
