ROCKWALL, TX (Feb. 16, 2026) – Community members, leaders, and nonprofit organizations gathered on February 15 for an inspiring evening devoted to faith, compassion, and community collaboration. The gathering featured the presentation of Rockwall’s inaugural “Heart of the Community” Award.

Rockwall Mayor Tim McCallum presented the award to Ridge Petersen, recognizing him “for demonstrating remarkable resilience and a heart that inspires hope, faith, unity, and compassion in others.”
