LDS Students Honor 90 Influential Keller Teachers

KellTeacherAppreciation3_weber area youth, ages 12-18, from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints honored Keller ISD and surrounding private school teachers at their 5th annual Teacher Appreciation dinner onMay 6, 2015. The evening featured a choir performance, slideshow, and the youth giving heartfelt tributes to their nominated teacher.  One teacher wrote to one of her students, “Thank you for inviting me tonight…you have no idea how much this means.   Your smiling face brightens my day each day.  And the food was superb!”

Over 240 attended the event at the Church’s Colleyville location, including Superintendent Dr. Randy Reid, Trustees Jim Stitt, Karina Davis, Brad Schofield, Ruthie Keyes, Mayor Mark Mathews, City Councilman Rick Barnes, and the Principals of the recognized schools.
