Denton Record-Chronicle: Community overhauls a school’s disused soccer field for Juneteenth in Southeast Denton

The Denton community, in collaboration with the Denton Juneteenth Committee and JustServe North Texas volunteers, revitalized a disused soccer field at Rivera Elementary School in Southeast Denton. This project was completed in time for Juneteenth celebrations and highlighted the importance of community involvement and cultural heritage​.
