DFW Leadership Series to Welcome Expert Entrepreneur

Please join us for the next installment of the DFW Leadership Series, featuring Spencer Jan. Spencer’s presentation is entitled: “Revealing My Entrepreneurial Journey: How You Can Start Your Own!”

Spencer, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Keller, is a self-taught e-commerce entrepreneur and the co-founder of Solo Stove, a multimillion dollar company that was started in a garage with just $15,000 and no outside investments. He grew Solo Stove into a highly profitable company that was valued over nine figures, experienced two exits to private equity, and watched the company he co-founded go on to acquire numerous consumer goods brands as well as go public on the New York Stock Exchange, reaching a valuation over $2 billion.

Spencer served a Mandarin-speaking mission in Taiwan for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and earned bachelors degrees from BYU in Mandarin Chinese and International Studies. Spencer is a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, a father, a “decent fisherman, and a struggling golfer.” Spencer was featured on popular podcast, “How I Built This” with Guy Raz.
