North Texas Young Adults Unite for ‘Feed My Starving Children’
The Richardson Texas Feed My Starving Children facility hosted nearly 100 community volunteers for a two-hour packing session. Their collective efforts resulted in creation of 22,464 meals, known as Manna Packs. Notably, over 30 participants were young adults representing congregations from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Frisco, Little Elm, and Prosper areas.
One of the participants expressed, “The experience was truly humbling, knowing that our small contribution can make a significant impact in helping those in need. It also fosters gratitude for our own blessings.”
“It was humbling to realize that our work would provide sustenance for 61 children for an entire year. We were deeply grateful for this experience and greatly appreciated the supportive staff, who made serving enjoyable. We are eager to participate again in the future!” shared volunteer Nikki H.
