The Young Single Adult Gathering Place
🌟 Exciting news for all young adults ages 18 to 35! 🌟

Join us at the Young Single Adult Gathering Place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dallas! This is a fantastic opportunity to connect, build friendships, and deepen your faith in a welcoming environment.
📍 **Where:** The Church of Jesus Christ, 14740 Meandering Way, Dallas, TX 75254

Members of the Young Single Adult congregation recently kicked off the new gathering place with an awesome introduction event on October 11, 2024! They enjoyed delicious pupusas, played foosball, dived into video games, and had a great time with cornhole. It was a night full of fun and connection!
Alberto Marrero, a recent returned missionary, shared, “My sister Vanessa and I love that the gathering place is close to home and that we can attend Family Home Evening there. It makes us feel so welcomed as we’re both new to the Young Adult congregation.”
A big shoutout to leaders and members of the Young Single Adult congregation, who have been working hard to prepare this space! With new amenities like a kitchenette area with a refrigerator, microwave, comfy couches, a big-screen TV, foosball and cornhole, its the perfect spot to hang out and connect.

This is an amazing activity! Two other churches, Mision Templo Bethel AD and Mount Zion Praise Church, will be joining the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and JustServe North Texas in building beds for Kids in Need. Plan to come and help. Bring a Friend!

Temples in North Texas

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been building temples since the 1830s. Temples are considered houses of God, places of holiness and peace separate from the world’s preoccupations. They provide a place where Church members can make formal promises and commitments to God to follow His son, Jesus Christ, and live righteous lives. God promises to bless and strengthen those who stay true to these sacred promises. Learn more about the temples located in North Texas below.
