Light The World Giving Machines are big red vending machines where you can donate special items to those in need through select local and international charities.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sponsors the machines and covers the costs so that 100% of your donation goes to the charity you choose. In 2024, there were Light The World Giving Machines in Dallas Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, Texas.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been building temples since the 1830s. Temples are considered houses of God, places of holiness and peace separate from the world’s preoccupations. They provide a place where Church members can make formal promises and commitments to God to follow His son, Jesus Christ, and live righteous lives. God promises to bless and strengthen those who stay true to these sacred promises. Learn more about the temples located in North Texas below.

They partnered with Sleep In Heavenly Peace - TX, Dallas/Fort Worth, a wonderful organization making sure no child goes to sleep on the floor.
