IRVING, TX – Young single adults from across Texas and Oklahoma are invited to gather August 15–16, 2025, at the Irving Convention Center for the DFW YSA Conference, hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This two-day event, themed “All Things in Christ,” is open to young adults ages 18 to 35.
In addition to spiritual devotionals, inspiring workshops, uplifting entertainment, and social connection, the conference will include meaningful community service projects that reflect the Savior’s call to love and serve others.
Service initiatives will support the following organizations:
· PediPlace – putting together patient snack bags
· Shelter Heroes with Red Cross – an intensive Red Cross course providing the training needed to become a certified Shelter Hero, equipped to assist in shelters during times of crisis.
· The Birthday Party Project – bringing joy to children experiencing homelessness through birthday celebrations.
· The Samaritan Inn – supporting North Texas’ largest residential homeless program.
· Days for Girls – assembling hygiene kits for girls and women around the world.
“This is more than just a conference—it’s a chance to gather and be unified in Christ, to grow spiritually, and to serve side by side,” said Jonathan Cannon, North Texas Area Seventy for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. “The service opportunities allow participants to make a real difference in the lives of others, to be emissaries of the love of Jesus Christ, which will further strengthen their own discipleship.”
