Arden Scout Harrell, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was recently honored at a seminary graduation ceremony held at the church meetinghouse in Irving on June 1.
Seminary is a four-year religious education program for high school students. The classes, held each morning before school starts, are designed to help students deepen their understanding of the scriptures, strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ and apply gospel principles in their daily lives. The students study the Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, and church history.
