Religious Leaders Unite for Community’s Benefit

On Saturday, June 10, religious leaders of The Baha’i, Muslim, Hindu, Baptist, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gathered together at a special luncheon to discuss ways in which we can all work together for the benefit of all members in our community. In attendance were city representatives, leaders, and representatives from nonprofit organizations.

Mayor Fuller, the mayor of McKinney, expressed gratitude to the church leaders for their dedicated time and sacrifices made to assist those in need within our community. He encouraged everyone to continue working together to address the challenges faced by individuals who require emotional, financial, and spiritual support.

The spirit of love at the luncheon was felt by all who were able to attend; the feeling of brotherhood was recognized by all.

Though religious beliefs may differ, we all share the common desire to help others. The work will continue to ‘Go Forward’ and The Lord’s hand will continue to bless us as we work together for The Good of All who live in this beautiful community.
